Susan also speaks about the pros and cons of small press. There are only six major publishers left today, but beneath them are literally thousands of smaller publishing companies called “imprints”. The presses are usually called the New York publishers. They are also sometimes referred to a “legacy publishers”. Susan explains what to expect from a smaller publisher once your work is accepted.
