Charlie Brown is smart! I love these words of wisdom. Again, this advice appears to be a consistent theme among the sage advice that I hear over and over again. Leave the past behind and focus on the future because that is where your life lies. It’s truly that simple. You would not drive looking through the rear view mirror, would you? So why would you go through life looking at the past? It is a perfect analogy!
One thing that I cannot understand is people who live in the past. I suppose they are so afraid of the unknown that they must stay with the familiar. Life can be scary, but so can letting life pass you by. As far as I know, you only get one shot at life, so to waste it living in the past seems very sad.
