As I reminded myself today that I wanted to add a new blog entry, I realized that we make time for the things that are most important to us. I enjoy writing in this blog and make it a priority to update it at least once a week. I hope all of you reading this enjoy my blog and look forward to new entries.
On a broader scale, if we look at the things we do or don’t do in our lives, we can clearly see our priorities. For example, if you make exercise and eating well a priority, then you have made a commitment to be fit. If your job is your priority, you’ve likely risen through the ranks of your field or organization. If you family is your life, then you’re likely to have a strong familial connection with members of your family. You can see your priorities by simply examining your life.
This isn’t meant to be a judgment or critcism. No one has a perfectly balanced life. We all have areas upon which we would like to improve. This blog is meant to shine a magnifying glass on your life and examine it the way it is today and explore areas that you can change so your life looks different tomorrow. After all, an unexamined life is a life not worth living (Socrates).
