During one of the most watched Miss USA® competition in years, Shandi Finnessey was crowned Miss USA® 2004 in the famed Kodak Theatre in Hollywood, CA before a live audience of 13 million viewers. She went on to become first-runner up to Miss Universe 2004 in Quito, Ecuador. After her year spent as Miss USA 2004, Shandi moved to Hollywood, where she began her career as a tv host/personality. In addition to being on the fourth season of Dancing with the Stars, Shandi has been a guest on numerous shows, including Larry King Live, Reality Chat, Red Eye, The Sean Hannity Show, The Today Show, Access Hollywood and Extra, to name a few. She can currently be seen hosting Lingo with Chuck Woolery on GSN. When she’s not jet-setting off to an exotic location (she just returned from Sao Paulo, Brazil where she co-hosted the Miss Universe pageant on NBC), she’s running, hiking, biking, practicing yoga and eating as healthy as one can eat. Despite her demanding schedule, she manages to make health and fitness a top priority. How does she do it? I’m hoping to find out!
