Journaling is a lost art. People don’t write in journals anymore because they keep track of their lives through social media, texting, email, blogs, and a myriad of other ways. Journal writing, however, is one of the most important ways we have to express ourselves. It’s private and it’s creative. It is the opportunity to organize your thoughts, solve problems, and create prose.
My friend Layla Wright turned her journal entries into her memoirs. (Click on the link to view her book!). She organized her ambitions so precisely that it culminated in a meeting with President Obama!

My point is that journaling is important to your personal development. Just like reading books, listening motivational CDs, and attending seminars, journaling is just as important to your personal growth. Get started writing today! You’ll see results that will change your life!
