The Success Design welcomes Miss America 2013 Mallory Hagan. After recently crowning her successor, Mallory sits down with me and talks about life after her Miss America reign, her platform of Child Sexual Abuse Prevention, and her memorable year as Miss America.
Here’s a synopsis of our interview:
With “Be Kind, Be Courageous, and Be You” as her motto during her reign as Miss America, Mallory Hagan reached new heights by just being Mallory, and trust me, that was plenty good enough. Mallory soared as Miss America, but considers it a humbling experience. While promoting her platform by bringing awareness to Child Sexual Abuse Prevention, she speaks candidly and tenderly about her work with the Children’s Miracle Network with which the Miss America Organization has partnered.
With time on her side, Mallory began pursuing her Miss America dream in her mother’s dance studio in Alabama during her tender years. She moved to New York to vie for the Miss New York title and, after coming in 1st runner up twice, she became Miss New York and headed for the Miss America competition. She was crowned Miss America 2013.
