There are so many great lessons that the Buddha taught, it’s hard to narrow it down to just a few. However, these are two of my favorites.
Anger can destroy you. Holding onto it can make you sick physically, mentally, emotionally, or a combination of all these. By holding onto anger, you are punishing yourself for another’s misdeeds. Try to let go of the anger, even if it seems impossible. Live life at peace. Your health is worth it.
This is perhaps my favorite Buddha principle because I believe in going after what you want in life with vigor and fervor. I do believe that you cannot make a mistake by going after what you want. You can only make a mistake by not finishing or not starting. The Buddha was correct in this principle because not trying is its own punishment.
