I find this quote by F. Scott Fitzgerald absolutely startling.  When I read it for the first time, I immediately thought back to all the chances that I did not take for one reason or another.  I then wondered how my life would be different had I just taken those chances or if I had just followed through with an opportunity that presented itself.  Would my life be profoundly different?  Perhaps.  Going forward, I am looking to take advantage of every opportunity that presents itself.  Hopefully, each and every opportunity will land me in a place that I might never have been were it not for my taking the chance.
